Good Time Girl in a Big, Bad World

With a surname that's another word for 'vagina', sex has played an important part in the life of Kitty Minge, a good-time girl from the East End of London, who learned many of her life skills from colourful characters like Fat Merle, a transsexual drug dealer and underground DJ, and Bucket Michelle, dominatrix extraordinaire. In this 45-minute show, Kitty, an omnisexual, vegan, trashy trollop with a social conscience and a sharp wit, sounds off about the state of society in big heels, glitter and a camp frock, covering topics such as gay cults, the evils of multi-national conglomerates and fast-food chains, and the importance of sex for money as well as pleasure.

You can see Good Time Girl in a Big, Bad World (45 mins) as part of a comedy double bill with White Trash Lesbian by Jody Ekert at the New Mardi Gras Gay & Lesbian Cultural Festival 17, 18, 19 February 2006, 8pm at the cabaret room at Paddington RSL (upstairs), Oxford Street, Paddington, 8pm. Tickets $20/$15 + booking fee. Ticket price is for both shows. There will be an interval.
